1. Who we are
M-II Operations ("M-II," "we," "us") is a tech-enabled fractional COO firm based in Waxahachie, Texas. This policy explains what we collect on miioperations.com, why, and what your choices are. It applies to the public website only. Data you enter into M-II Build or any other M-II application is covered by that application's separate terms.
2. What we collect
We collect two categories of information on this website.
2.1 Information you give us
When you fill out a form, email us, call us, book a call, or start a subscription, we collect what you provide: name, email, phone, company, your message, and payment information for purchases. Payment card numbers are processed by Stripe and never touch our servers.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit this site, our analytics and advertising tools collect standard web traffic information: IP address (usually truncated or anonymized), device type, browser, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, scrolls, and general geographic location (usually city-level). Some tools also record a video-like replay of your session on the site (mouse movement, clicks, scroll pattern, form field labels but not the values you type into sensitive fields).
3. Analytics and advertising tools we use
The following third-party tools run on miioperations.com. Each collects the information described above and follows its own privacy practices. Links to each provider's policy are included.
3.1 Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors find our site, which pages they read, and how our marketing efforts are performing. GA4 uses cookies and similar identifiers. We have enabled IP anonymization. Data is retained for up to 14 months. Google's privacy notice: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of GA4 with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
3.2 Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity captures a video-like replay of your session so we can see how visitors experience the site: where they scroll, where they click, what confuses them. Clarity automatically masks sensitive form fields. Microsoft's privacy statement: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement. You can opt out of Clarity by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser or by declining our cookie banner.
3.3 Meta (Facebook) Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and, when you have visited our site, to show you relevant ads on those platforms. The Pixel sends information about your visit to Meta. Meta's data policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can control how Meta uses your data at facebook.com/ads/preferences.
3.4 Stripe
Stripe processes payments for purchases and subscriptions. Stripe collects the payment information you enter on its checkout pages. We receive limited information back (card brand, last four digits, cardholder name, billing address, transaction ID). Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
3.5 Hostinger
This website is hosted by Hostinger. Hostinger's servers process standard web traffic logs (IP, timestamp, request path) as part of hosting the site. Hostinger's privacy policy: hostinger.com/privacy-policy.
4. How we use the information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the website, respond to your inquiries, and fulfill purchases and subscriptions.
- Understand what content and pages help visitors most so we can improve them.
- Measure the performance of our marketing and advertising.
- Show relevant advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta platforms after you have visited this site.
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
5. Cookies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels) for analytics, advertising, and to remember your preferences (including whether you have already accepted our cookie notice). The bottom-of-page banner appears until you accept it. If you do not want cookies, most browsers let you block or delete them in their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
6. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- The service providers listed above (Google, Microsoft, Meta, Stripe, Hostinger), who process it on our behalf.
- Professional advisors (accountant, attorney) when necessary.
- Government agencies or courts when required by law.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to the same protections described here.
7. How long we keep it
We retain contact and purchase records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax and legal requirements (generally seven years for financial records). Analytics data is retained per the tool's default (14 months for GA4, up to 13 months for Clarity, up to 90 days for the Meta Pixel visitor list unless we refresh it). Session recordings are retained for 30 days.
8. Your choices and rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Ask us what personal information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete information we hold about you.
- Ask us to stop using your information for marketing.
- Opt out of analytics and advertising using the tool-specific links above, browser "Do Not Track," or by declining our cookie banner.
To make a request, email info@miiops.com from the address associated with your record. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact info@miiops.com and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information in our care, including HTTPS across the entire site, encrypted storage where practical, and least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you consistent with applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, always lives at this URL. If we make material changes, we will note the change in the banner or by email where practical. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
