Two ways to put M-II to work.
A self-service Operational Audit or a Fractional COO engagement. Both reinforce each other. Either stands alone. Looking for our apps? See the M-II product suite.
A $5K–$10K enterprise operations audit. Delivered for under $1,000, with zero staff disruption.
If we brought a team into your business to manually map workflows, audit documentation, and interview your staff, it would take weeks. It would cost $5,000 to $10,000 in consulting fees, tie up your key employees, and pull you away from revenue-generating work. So we built that same Fractional COO diagnostic into an asynchronous 100-point digital wizard. Same hyper-targeted operational visibility. Instant triage across eight core pillars. A custom PDF Blueprint. On your schedule, with zero operational drag.
What you get
- Branded PDF report with category scores across eight pillars
- Prioritized recommendations sortable by impact & effort
- 30-minute review call with one of our Operations Professionals: reading the X-ray, not writing the SOPs
When you need a human in the seat, alongside the software.
A two-stage engagement. Stage 1 is the build — three phases that install the operating layer across project KPIs and the human side of the business. Stage 2 is the retainer — the automations run the day-to-day, and the COO stays on call for strategy and the exceptions the system flags but can't resolve on its own.
Org chart, core SOPs, KPI baseline, Authority Matrix. The starting line for businesses that have run on memory and trust.
Roll the foundation into daily practice. Manager training. Live KPIs and cadence rhythm. The operating layer goes from documented to running.
Defined operating authority, succession-ready structure, exit-readiness. The business runs on its own systems, not its founder.
The same Monitor · Interpret · Intervene method, applied to the human side of the business.
KPI dashboards catch what's happening on the work. But operations quietly break down in the places nobody is watching: employee files, training certifications, compliance windows. M-II builds the same tech-rich monitoring underneath those, too, so a missed signature or an expiring credential surfaces as a smart action item long before it becomes a fine, a claim, or a lawsuit.
Catch the gap before it becomes a compliance issue. From the moment an offer goes out, the M-II environment monitors every step of the onboarding chain and surfaces what's incomplete, in plain English, on a smart action item, before audit season ever asks.
- Onboarding steps not completed
- Signatures not obtained
- Background checks not reviewed
- References not contacted
- Benefits elections not made by deadline
- I-9 / W-4 / state forms missing or expired
One missed checkbox can cost you more than the new hire's first month of payroll. M-II makes sure none of them go missed.
Keep every role current, every credential live, every required course logged. M-II tracks what's required, what's been completed, and what's coming due, and assigns it before anyone has to remember to.
- Required training auto-assigned when a job title changes
- Annual certifications tracked with alerts before expiry
- Mandated training applied unilaterally (harassment, anti-discrimination, safety)
- Industry-specific training (OSHA, trade, licensing) tracked by role
- Internal SOP training assigned and verified
- Completion records archived for audit defense
Certifications don't expire on a calendar that respects your schedule. M-II watches the calendar so your team (and your insurance carrier) don't get a surprise.
The system knows who can approve what, and routes accordingly.
The work I do as your Fractional COO doesn't disappear when the engagement matures. It gets encoded into an Authority Matrix — the documented map of which role can decide what, approve what, and route what to whom. The M-II environment reads from that matrix and routes every event to the correct desk automatically.
Examples · Different events, each routed by the Authority Matrix
What I do in person on engagement days, the app does on every other day. The founder is only free when they aren't needed for everyday decisions, and M-II makes sure they aren't.
Once Stage 1 is installed, the automations run operations day to day. Smart action items route themselves to the right desk based on the Authority Matrix we built in Phase 1. Most exceptions resolve at the local level without us in the loop.
The COO stays on call for strategy meetings and for the items the system flags but cannot route to local authority: past-coded deadlines, margin shifts the model didn't anticipate, compliance windows that need executive judgment, and any signal outside the standard response window. We stay close enough to fix what the system surfaces.
Pick your entry point.
Some owners start with the audit because they want a third-party read of where the business is bleeding. Others come in through the Fractional COO engagement because they already know what is broken and they want a partner who installs the fix. Either way the outcome is the same: a business that runs without you having to run alongside it.
